Hello lovelies, it is time for another J brand review. J stands for Japanese brand and you can always see all review of beauty products from Japan and Korea on Asia beauty brands on the main menu.
When it comes to Japanese brands, we all often imagine about the perfect smooth skin and no ageing. However, most of us who are living in different part of Asia and only get to feel 2 different type of season: Rainy or Sunny, may forget that those products apply to those who live in 4 season country.
Our skin health is not only depend on the right product to use but also the weather, the environment pollution, the location that we stay whether it is near beach or high up in the mountain. Several other additional things you need to take notice is whether the environment is dry or moist. I live in 2 different country which is Singapore that extra dry since it often hot most of the time and Indonesia which is moist since the city that I live 75% is jungle while the rest is city. the city is small compare to the jungle, while Singapore full of buildings and road, with less of jungle.
As I see my skin need a different type of products to use, I use lots of sheet mask, hydrating cream and need t use face oils in Singapore, while back in Indonesia I don’t need to use that much hydrating products.
Infused with 4 types of Hyaluronic Acid, the rich creamy Hada Labo SHA Hydrating Face Wash gently and effectively cleanses away impurities, leaving skin hydrated, refreshed, soft and clean.
Directions

I notice more ingredients in the packaging, and below is the ingredients from Watson website
Water, Glycerin, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Butylene Glycol, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Cocamidopropyl, PEG-400, Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Lauroyl Aspartate, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Sodium Stearoy Glutamate, Citric Acid, Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid, Methylparaben, PEG-32, BHT, Disodium EDTA, Propylparaben, Polyquaternium-7, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Polyquaternium-52, Hydroxypropyltrimonium, Hyaluronate, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate
This cleanser is actually hyaluronic cleanser but it doesn’t moist nor does hydrate my skin but make it more dry that my original skin condition. My skin is dry, dehydrated, sensitive with adult acnes. The cleanser supposedly hydrate my skin but this one doesn’t do any of that. I stop the usage after using it for 3 days. My skin turned a little bit red and I notice that my skin starting to peel off.
I assume that this cleanser is not suitable to be used in a dry and humid environment like Singapore or for dry skin even thou that this cleanser contains Hyaluronic Acid in the hi
HADA LABO is the best drug store brands that you can find in Watson and Guardian if you live in Singapore. The brands always provide a list of the ingredients to the point they even explaining the percentage, not many of Asian brands especially drug store that exposes their ingredients these days. The brands don’t use fragrance, alcohol or even artificial ingredients such as paraben and its friends.
Paraben actually alright to be used in skincare. It is just preservatives that don’t give side effect to no effect on the skin. I have no ideas when people start to just freak out over alcohol, paraben and even sodium laureth sulfate. When your skin actaully need it.
We live in humid, polluted and closed air-conditioned room. We go somewhere with public transport or cars with air-conditioned, and then we walk in the polluted environment every day. Therefore we need SLS in our skincare to remove all the dirt in the inner deepest layer of our skin. People who suffer from skin stress is mostly due to this. They think they know that they needed to use ‘healthy ingredients’ when actually those ‘ healthy ingredients’ actually a marketing gimmick from beauty brands that goes inside your head when a sales marketing at retails explaining to you like a PRO.
Then you wonder, why your skin never changes even after you buy a bunch of products and changing those brands, then you think inside your head that
“the problem is in my skin, I am not suitable to use this x brand and that y brand’.
You never question the beauty sales advisor — with advisor title behind, you think the girl know everything about beauty stuff when she only do the sales and make the profit.
“But hey! she got nice skin?”
Of course she did, she is a beauty sales advisor. None of the beauty company will pick unattractive with lots of skin problem to be their beauty ambassador. How do I know all of that? I work as a beauty sales advisor. I will be exposing more about beauty sales making on a future article. So, subscribe to this blog and you will get all the info you need to stay pretty and smart. Remember! shop smart. Don’t eat people advised freely, your skin is worth more than diamonds.
