#HOTELREVIEW: ATRIA RESIDENCE SERVICE APARTEMENT ( KOTA TANGERANG, INDONESIA)
Hello all, how you doing? hope you are doing fine with all of these COVID-19 situation. It’s been a decade since I last reviewed about hotel but now I am ready. As you may already know that my home country is Indonesia but I am living in Singapore yet I often stuck in other place that is not my hometwon therefore I needed to rent room. So, let me tell you my story first, before we started with the review.
MY LOCKDOWN STORY
Most of the airport is close during the early COVID-19 moment yet I am stuck with only 1 choice to go back to my home country since I resigned from my work. So I only can go to Jakarta then travel to Kota Tangerang where my aunty and my sister’s best friend lives. Atria Service Apartments is the only apartment that can accommodate and also around my aunt and my sister’s best friend’s house. It is also located in an area where ATM and Mall are around, so I don’t have to think too much about food and money.
I and my brother have actually come from Soekarno-Hatta airport but it is very near to Jakarta so we stayed in Swissotel before we went to Kota Tangerang, you can visit my Instagram to enjoy more hotel room view also include Swissotel on @feliccine.
Story
Upon our arrival at this place, we are greeted with a very welcoming front office staff. They have dressed up for COVID-29 prevention. The residence is located near minimart, so you can just walk to buy everything you need.
I stayed in level 2. The rest of the upper level is for those who rent monthly to yearly. It is very convenient for me to go down just to grab my food delivery that I order from App like GOJEK. There are lots of cheap and delicious food in Kota Tangerang, and the food there doesn’t contain any additional artificial spice that could hurt my throat.
They give us free breakfast every morning. The staff was also an enthusiast to serve us. They serve Indonesia and Italian food. The breakfast is really delicious, such as fried rice, beef, chicken, veggie, and even they boiled eggs for me too. They also serve us tea and coffee at our table. Well, not that because I am Indonesian but Indonesia has a really good hospitality service. Imagine Bali, you bath with the flower arrange accordingly and in the pool too. They created a lot of beautiful stuff for tourists to enjoy.
THE PLACE OUTLOOK
The serviced apartement is really clean and also spray with disinfectant. You can also ask the cleaning service to clean every days. They also serve 2 bottle of drinking water for free but inside also provided 1 litre of water. However, I need to ask the hotel to provide me with a pot to boiled the water. You can always ask for anything, provided that they have it.
I asked coffee, sugar, white cream, iron with the table and hanger to dry out my clothes. They have laundry that often sale, for example: 2 pieces for IDR 50000 or sometimes 4 pieces for DR 60000. It is really cheap since they use nice softener and even iron it for you. I always asked additional towel, and they provided it.
To be honest living in big city like Jakarta, Bali and Tangerang is so different with other part of Indonesia that I ever visited. The service is 99.9% similar to Singapore and even better.
The service is 9/10 — there is no 10/10 service since the one that perrforming is human being. We may encounter some error in every service we engage and it is understandable, even during our work we having a bad day andit also affect how we perfom our work.
The breakfast staff is really energised even thou they have to wakeup earlier than us, since the breakfast start from 6:00 am to 11:00 am. They make my boiled egg and serve me coffee, while my brother asking for tea. They also take our dirty plate immediately. There is no empty food lurking in the dining table. Everything is exceptional.
We also engage in their service for the hospital since we need to take the SWAB test in order to go back to our hometown. We asked the hotel staff to provide us with the hospital and also the driver to go there. The driver is free and the hospital owner has also owned the residence. So, it is easier for us to manage our schedules and particular details for the hospital. The hospital is Bethsaida and it is really clean since they provided a lone building for COVID-19 test.
After that we also asked the hotel to provide us again a driver to go to the airport, this time we have to pay because the road is long and the staff also need to make up their time and unable to rest during the night. The driver comes at the exact time that we asked. Pick up our big luggage and drove us to the airport. The road is long but the staff is so friendly. We arrive at the airport quite early that day.
