1st Impression: CERAVE FOAMING FACIAL CLEANSER with review
Have you suffer from major breakout when your skin is actually dry?
If you answer yes, then you should check out CERAVE Foaming cleanser (on the picture). Let me tell you about my experience. I suffered from major dryness and breakout. My skin condition is dry, dehydrated, sensitive and prone to acne. Using wrong skincare products or less hydrating/moisturizing could lead to major breakout followed by redness and dryness. It is my skin reacting to changes in condition. If that’s happened, it is impossible for me to hide it with makeup because it trigger redness even worst.
Some other problem is the pores. I could swear that I see my pores wide open and it feel so gross to me. I have this trypophobia. I just wanna squezze the white head but the pores will still be wide open. If this is continue the pores will be filled with all the junk that eventually will makes stone acne/hard pimples. These kind of pimples could only be heal by using Rectanyl. However, the longterm solution is how to make this pores smaller, get rid of the breakout, calming my skin by moisten and hydrate it.
HOW?
You guess it right! That will took a long time and lots of skincare — that’s what I thought too.
Then my sister told me to use CERAVE. She said that it can do all of those stuff that I mentioned.
Our conversation goes like
Me:
“How so? I won’t be believing you. It’s impossible for just a mere cleanser to do all of those complicated solution
Sister:
“Just believe me. Try lah”
Me:
“Ok! But if my skin breakout then you’ll responsible to solve it”
Sister
“Okay!”
So I try and my skin back to normal.
I am so happy that I couldn’t believe it but this cleanser is pretty expensive. So I try another cleanser that have same ingredients which is CERAMIDIN. The cleanser cost $20 which is considered cheap for me. You can read this article:

The cleanser is gentle to my skin and it does give my skin moist and hydration. My skin doesn’t feel rough anymore after using it for 3 days in row with 2 times of face cleansing routine.
The good ingredients that this cleanser for my skin condition is CERAMIDIN. This ingredients is the best for those who have rough, dry and acne prone skin because it give pH balance while you are using acne skincare treatment that could cause dry skin problem.
This cleanser also lessen the pimples in my skin. I have not suffered from small pimples after using it. The dopelgangger that is work best for my skin which is CERADAN. The other ingredients that work best is Niacinamide, this particular formula is use to provide bright looking skin while Hyaluronic Acid work to give moist to the skin, yet using hyaluronic acid alone for your skin won’t be enough if you are not balance it out with other skincare ingredients, because these ingredients is formulated to support each others.
So, to solve your skin problem is to find out what kind of ingredients that your skin love then try to balance it out with other skin ingredients. For example: I wanted to have smooth without breakout kind of skin but I also want it to look bright and plump. So I use CERADAN because it contains CERAMIDIN,while using hydrating skincare which is HADA LABO premium Gokuyjun, and Double Dare water serum. Sometimes I use Rectanyl or better known as Tretinoin 0.5% to solve small pimples problem. Yet, I also use sheetmask to help to hydrate and make my skin plump. The sheetmask work the best for my dry and dehydrated skin, it also lessen my skin to turned sensitive.
To be honest I never know that cleanser would be such a important issues for my skin until I experienced rough skin when I try to use random cleanser. My 1st thought is
“It just cleanser, it won’t do much! my skin is fine”
but after sometimes, I realise that looking down on a single skincare won’t do my skin good. Lesson learned! I better be extra careful when it comes to skincare.
